You have to check for every oil. The VR1 was 3K. A lot of it depends on the filter too. If you don't use the amsoil filter they recommend changing the filter every 5K. Joe Gibbs may be the same. I'm not that familiar with JG other than I know it's a good oil.

I have to launch at 2200 on my street tires. 3800 would be awesome. I hope I get that much out of the drag radials.
I hope you get lots of runs in man! I am looking forward to having more people to race with and hang out with at the track. It's addicting. I know disappointment from breaking crap too, lol!

I launched on dr's around 4500-5000 on the NA setup. I was slipping the heck out of the clutch to keep from spinning.

I have an extra set of low mileage stock axles you could borrow for the trip if you're interested.

That would be great. I have been monitoring the classifieds for a backup set, but haven't seen anything I liked yet. I'll buy them from you if I have to use them. I'm sure I will eventually...

Does anyone know where I can get a complete (with hoses)remote oil cooler kit that's designed specifically for Camaro 2010 fitted with whipple, looks like most mount where intercooler rad is already mounted & even some of the adds for cooler kits actually mention not suitable for whippled car.

I run Amsoil Signature Series. Great stuff, worth the investment for any of your vehicles IMO.

Since I am in the works of getting a cam together this is something I need to understand better. Is it best to stay synthetic? What oil weight should I be running? How do I know which oil to go with...I see you guys talk about something with high zinc in it, but what is considered a high amount? Also, I see you guys talking about ZDDP. No clue what it is so I quickly googled it and appears to be an additive to the oil? So this isn't something that is already mixed in with a quart of oil?
