ADM FPCM

hey all, i am putting in a zl1 fuel pump in the near future and came across a few people telling me i should put an ADM FPCM in. i just wanted to know if this was a needed mod as i will be sticking around the 410-420rwhp range and think the zl1 pump should do me fine

Do you plan on going FI in the future? Why the ZL1 pump?

Stock pump is fine for 420 rwhp. Spend your money elsewhere.

Nope not needed. The ZL1 pump is plug and play and will just give you more volume of fuel at the Std. press of 58 psi. The ADM FPCM will just let the pump change PSI. Helpful on boosted cars. Will not increase max volume.

Also do not need a ZL1 pump for that RWHP.

Stock pump will do fine up to 550-600rwhp, but the ZL1 with the ADM FPCM is the way to go if you plan to make more power down the road.

L99 car will not survive on the stock pump much past 500 rwhp without meth or a better fuel system. To risky to play around. It's about 550 on an ls3 then time to change.

Good to know
Wonder if its different with nitrous? Isn't Ryan making 500rwhp plus nitrous on the stock pump?

Beats me. But he knows some shit that we don't about what needs to be done. I don't think he went 9's with the stock pump though. With the nitrous it's prob close to the same rwhp wise. I have no idea if the type if FI plays any role in it.

Then use the 500 l99/ 550 ls3 guidelines and you'll be just fine. Any higher and you should start upgrading.
