Not positive because I didn't take the time to look it up, but I'm sure the Camaro V6 gets much better gas mileage than the Charger. So add "cheaper to drive" to your pros list.

like some of the others said, decide what will work better for you as far as driving around family/friends or just you and someone else riding in it. what options are you getting with both for 33k. for that price you should be completely maxed for the v6 Camaro. The r/t charger for that price has a lot of options included with it so decide which opts you can't live without. if opts are a deciding factor, you could get a near base v6 Camaro, for around 23k and use the 10k saved to personalize it. I'm sure you can get a lot more power out of it also with money to spare.
if only I thought of this when I was looking to buy my Camaro a few years ago. v8 vs. v6 you can't duplicate that v8 sound. go with the v6 you'll have the looks and whatever else pros come with it. go with the r/t and you'll have the pros that come with it (power, tq, sound, etc.). We can tell you which one we would chose but it still won't change your reasoning for why YOU want it. knowing what I know now and my experience with owning a v6, I would say v8, but you won't have those dashing great looks of the Camaro unless you get one. maybe v8 Camaro?? |

Is this a engine dyno or rwhp? If so I need to trade for a Dodge since clearly it's the more powerful one.

All Chargers are 4 door and auto, no manuals. Something to consider.

Just to stay on topic for the options you gave.. I'd go with the charger If I was in your position..
There is no way a camaro v6(stock) would hang with the v8 charger, just wont happen and doesnt make sense lol.

Never under estimate the power of an incompetent driver. I've seen some fast cars put down some really slow times at the Track.
My son easily beat every SRT8 he race against with his stock 2000 Camaro SS so he thought they were all POSes until I bought mine. I beat his best time ever with the very 1 run down the track in my SRT8 then shaved a few tenths off once I got a good feel of the car.

I drove my cousin's RT 2014.
It is more as a sedan car, nice view, gentle ride, quite shifting, strong brakes, but didnt feel that kick in acceleration even when compared to my V6. Also, there is too much in cabin noise from the wind that I couldnt bear. This made me change my plans to buy the SRT version and go for the SS as an upgrade.
