Not sure what you consider close, but check with Back Street Performance in medina ohio. right by medina county fairgrounds.

$3,500 for ZL1 wheels with a few hundred miles on them. Too much?

For 900 more I can get HRE wheels with tires mounted and balanced.

Eh, three sets just went on Ebay for $3,200 to $3700.....I assume you mean the 10 spoke ones, otherwise it is too much for the 5 spoke ones. Prices are all over the place from month to month. I also assume you mean wheel and tires, otherwise it is WAY TOO MUCH.

It depends on why you want the wheels. If you like whatever brand of HRE wheels better or the ZL1 wheels. I personally don't care for the HRE wheels. every time I see a car it seems someone has them, but that just means more people like them than me, lol

Are the instructors very informative at the events in Mid-Ohio? I've never been to a track before and would like to learn and have a good time in my car. Although she is a garage queen, I would like to play with her on road courses and autox events.

Just found out the AutoX events at PittRace are on Sundays so I can actually make those lol.

Yes they are. Good thing about it is they have different classes based on experience.
The last one Tomster and I were at, they did a good job of moving people around in groups to make sure they were driving with the right group.
