Crank case pressure bleeding off into the clean side tube that attached to the intake elbow... Normally unnoticeable with the stock intake installed.

Hmmm. That sounds like a possibility.

Halltech FTW...
Not many talk about it, but it is top rated and a very nice look.

So I was looking at the Vararam intakes. You said one bad thing about it was that it set the radiator at an incline but the way this guy installed his it fit right back where it was "or so it seemed". I was looking at getting the vararam intake for my v6. Just thought i would ask for your thoughts on this.

Great work Chase! STICKY THIS!!
i installed a K&N CAI system and noticed while i had better all around performance and dyno results to back it up that i could get more from what i was getting out of it. I have higher at idle IAT temps and now i know what its from and what i can do to fix it...cant wait to get to my storage garage and look at my MAF sensor too!! just out of curisoty can any tech out there in the performance world tell me what a normal at idle is for a CAI system....i know they very from system to system but what is the high limit tolerances....what is too high for an at idle temp? thanks Chase!! |

Does the CAI intake use an oiled filter? If yes, does it come with the oil?
