Yeah he needed to leave on more power but was draggin' his feet on implementing the 3 step. Car couldn't leave on more than 5-6 lbs of boost and need to leave on 9 or 10.

I 'retired' from that volunteer gig so I could concentrate on my own racing this year.

Terry you been guttin' that car out for racing, seats out of that metallic red race car?

For all of my 4th gen experience (I co-founded LS1Tech) I will tell you that Rhino and a few other guys really have a handle on this NA 5th gen stuff. I'm also a fan of Rick Crawford who's been making G8's fast and now some Camaros too.

For all the converters I've had over the years (Circle D; Yank; Precision; ATI; etc) I can't make any generalizations on the 5th gen. I'm frankly grateful to have gotten so much advice from Jeff (Camarojt), Ryan (Rhino), Rick, Dan (white zl1) and Motion from Canada. I like Terry too I've certainly asked you a lot of questions over the last year and a half.

I've got a buddy who went 10.8x with a LS3 A6 auto C6 with bolt-ons, so I always figured the L99s would go 11.7's maybe .6's, but .44 in negative DA I'm still surprised. I still don't get where all the MPH is coming from but I like it.

well said, now my question u got any good hookup for auto c6 guys as i got me one now and got all my stuff other then a converter and im lost . first auto ive ever owned and scared to buy the wrong one lol

Tr6? Did you get Alzheimer's old man?

Tuner had zl1 plugs in that bad boy. Tr6's and I may have lasted a little longer than the dyno meltdown.

Oh yeah ZL1 plugs. Those are good to 2000 HP.

Hey Terry did any other 5th gen A6 cars run as good stock as you did at your tracks? I recall you race at NPR and that other one. Did you run that 12.7 in Jan/Feb?

I have some work to do, 6 tenths difference haha.

I will be coming after the bolt on record with my m6 ls3...been hitting it hard to get it ready for when the weather breaks... I cant wait
