I'm very disappointed no one is running this in the top level series. The Continental Series gets very little air time and nearly no live air time.

Chevrolet likes the Corvette for the Tudor Series. Even if it was in the Tudor Series it would be a Pratt & Miller built tube chassis, carbon fiber body panel clone purpose built race car like the SS in the Rolex GT.

I used to love that the previous cars were SS's but as a Z28 I am still proud for a Z28 to be a race car for real

Will Stevenson still race a Camaro in the Daytona GT class which they raced in last year as it was known as the Grand Am GT class? I hope they plan to still be there with a Z/28R as well because the C7 Z06R is in the LeMans GT class representing Chevy and GM.

That's what I had in mind. I'm really curious what the weight is and if they tweaked the motor at all what the HP is.

I understand they have to put safety first, and I guess the name of that sport has turned into no one have anything different, but when they unveiled that NASCAR Camaro that didn't look like a Camaro I was kind of like what's that point. This Z/28 is awesome. I'd flat love to see it race on oval and road tracks against Mopars, Fords, and imports that are as close to their own production version too. That I would pay extra for on a tv channel, and I would travel to see races like that.

Probably moving to Atlanta in a year, am definitely planning on starting to attend some events at Road Atlanta.

I've always said that if NASCAR would actually use cars that resembled the production models, more people would be interested. The new cars have gotten better.

No Camaros in the Tudor Series, only the CTSCC. Stevenson Motorsports announced last summer they were only running in the CTSCC in 2014. They will field 2 (6 & 9), CKS Autosport will field 2(00 & 01). Mitchum is bring a Camaro to Daytona(62), but it might be the GS.R from last year. AREHUCAS Rum Racing shows a Camaro on entry list(18) but likely GS.R as well.

Yep... watching 800+hp versions of family sedans isn't very cool to me... sweet Fusion... nice Camry... yeah, not so much...
