if it is going to be an occasional track car, then it is perfect. You won't care as much when a rock flies up or if someone parks too close. Have fun with the car and enjoy the performance!

If you want to keep it, have the dealership throw in a GMPP (General Motors Protection Plan) 5year/100K 0$ deductible warranty. Otherwise get a 1LE.

My 2 cents.

Keep it, if it bothers you that much have someone blend the paint down the road but since it's going to get driven I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I have seen worse paint matches directly from the factory.
That looks fine. Forget about it and drive that thing.

+1 keep it and drive it like you stole it... cause for $42K you did.

If I would notice the difference every time I look at the car, and something that would always bother me about the car, I would seriously consider the cost to have the entire car professionally re-painted, even if not done immediately.

If it were only noticeable to me under close scrutiny, I would definitely keep it rather than downgrading to an SS.

I really can't tell the difference........

If you're good with it, keep it and roll on. If you're not, take it back.......

I will give you 42k for it, shit. Great deal you got there.

I can see the difference you are talking about, but I would just live with it especially since nobody could spot it in person.

You may be ruined now anyways going back to SS.

I wouldn't worry about it and enjoy the car. The factory paint is garbage anyway, lots of imperfections, trapped dirt, and other issues. When money and time allows you can really have a nice coat of Red Hot put on.

I wouldn't worry about it that much. If you bring the car back then let everyone know on here because at that price I'm sure someone else is going to buy it lol

Find out how much of the car was actually repainted. If its just the bumper then you may be able to forgive it (you can plan to repaint it later). When you get into body panels that have been repainted then its a cause of concern, as you want to know what the problem was that warranted body parts to get repainted this soon.

Try to be a little objective with the paint, as GM paint isn't perfect. Its not uncommon to see shade differences between panels and the bumper. A good car should have a uniform shade between panels, however. If the quality is less than what you're expecting then perhaps you should let it go back before you get too attached to it. You may find another ZL that could make you happier.

Good luck.
