My wife and my son are the only two and it might not have been in that order, and yes I was in the car.

To quote a Corvette Buddy, "That's what insurance is for". I'm picky, but usually in the car. My wife can drive it anytime she wants (when I don't have other plans).

Same here. The other car is a 13 wrangler rubicon, so I don't feel to bad trading with the wife.

Speaking of insurance, I went from a 2010 mazdaspeed3 to a 2011 camaro SS and dropped my deductibles from 1000 to 500. Insurance co sent me a check for 40 bucks because it dropped my rate... huh? No complaints on that.

Funny story about this...

Currently at college I have two roommates, one is a car guy like me and drives a Lexus IS300, the other is a couple years older, fairly arrogant and a bit pushy. He even went so far as to tell me at one point he does not like American vehicles, the weird thing is he kept asking to give my car a drive.

Anyhow, couple weeks ago we had been out on the night and he was asking me throughout the night after I had a couple drinks to drive the car so we didn't have to walk back in the cold. He doesn't drink and had designated himself as DD but I figured it more for keeping us from losing coats and whatnot (Seeing as how he didn't have his car with him). At the end of the night he basically tried to trick one of his frat members into giving us a ride home (his frat member was parked right next to me in the school garage ). I was stone cold sober at the time and told him we'd walk back to the train (which is a free ride for students by the way and was about a 10 minute walk from us). Once that was over with he insisted one more time that he drive us back in my Camaro and I responded by continuing to walk. I had been considering the drive but he had gotten me angry at that point.

Later on, at the dorm, my other roommate who is a car guy came into my room and told me before I could explain that there was no hard feelings and in my shoes he would have done the same thing, people like that have no respect for other people's things.

More on point, only people that drive it are my father, my GF and me. I don't mind letting other car folk driving it as long as I know they're going to take care of it.

I let my wife, she looks good in it. The first time I let her drive it was to run some errands. When she left I noticed that the Avg Fuel MPG was 15.6, she was only gone for a couple hours and when she returned it was 12.3. I busted out laughing and asked her if she had fun and she just smiled. She’s the only one I let drive it.

I f you can't let your wife drive your stuff who would you let drive it? Other than that, mines superchargered and can get you in trouble if you aren't ready when it "hits". So other than my son son who drives a dirt modified(track champion and WAY more of a car than just about any Camaro), NO.

It's just a car. I let my 18 year old nephew drive it to prom. All of my friends have driven it.

I let a 16 year old with a two-week old driver's license drive it on two lane highway speeds in isolated central Nevada. She became the coolest kid at her high school.

Job Well Done!
