Congrats VROOMAPUNK. How's the driveability? I just have a hard time tearing this motor down with less than 4k miles.

Total cost estimate?

I have a different cost than you, much different. Since I have an auto.

Driveability is great, but again, its an auto.

Lethal has a lot of stuff and you can call them to talk about it. They have cam packages on their site too. Lethal Racing.

Manual guys say the night fury has great drivability too.

Does anyone have a link for the torque specs linked to another thread here in the OP? Link is broken.

There's a PDF in this thread that might be what you need: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...%22tow+hook%22

It's called "Fastener Tightening Specifications (6.2L LS3).pdf"

Theres really only a handful of things to torque down. And honestly, I used a torque wrench but they were all pretty much the same as if you were to use a regular wrench and tighten them as tight as you think they should be if that makes sense lol.

Only odd things are the head bolts, which need three separate passes and are torque to yield, and the crank bolt is just get it as freaking tight as possible, I stood in the engine bay with all my weight on a breaker bar and pipe. My torque wrench only went to 150, not 250 or w/e

wow just read this and I am a old chevy guy who did all his own engines on small block chevies over the years installing and breaking in his own cams. Apparently as I did not watch all the videos he overlooked the breaking in of the cam where you rev the engine to above a certain rpm and heat treat the cam so it does not go bad in the future by running the engine for thirty minutes...he just limps it to another shop in the end. I guess that can be o.k. yet not so good in my opinion and better to have it all done at one shop or towed to where it can be timed and broken in properly before anything else. I have not read all the posts just glad I am having a professional do mine.

You don't have to break in a hydraulic roller cam.

Yep, what Baer said. It's a roller cam. What your talking about had no meaning in this application with a roller lifter. There is no spin of a flat tappet, just cam passing by under a lifter with a roller and bearings.
