I am totally o.k. with a ported snout being a "bolt on" even though this poll did not show that the majority believes this to be the case. Done.

You should report those kinds of people. I can't fix it if I don't see it.

On my Camaro5, everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as they can respect everyone else.

I expressed my opinion on a poll on whether or not I felt a ported snout was a bolt on. Nothing disrespectfull about that. Somehow I guess that is directly related to my mod list and how much power my car makes compared to another. If someone has to try to run down another guys car to make himself feel better I guess that's his problem. The guy claims to be expressing his opinion. You be the judge lol

By some of your logic, everything is a bolt on. IMO, porting of anything is not a bolt on because you have to do work to the part. Frankly, who cares what it is considered though. It makes more horsepower and that's all that matters.

what does bolt on truely mean???? obviously there no concensus. for all thepeople confident in there own opinion this topic is split enough we might as well be discussing taxes, gay marriage, or legalizing weed ha ha.

heads bolt on, blowers bolt on. pulling you stock head's and porting them is the same thing as pulling your blower and porting it, or your snout and porting it. I am sure in the land of the internet expert that has never touched a car they are differnt but I got to be honest they all unbolt, they all come on the car, they all can be opened up by porting.

is it the number of bolts that hold it on? if you added this in the mix say "no more than 5 bolts can hold the part on" then the logic works. the hr's it takes to do the job??? and don't give anyting about internals becaues a blower is not interal.

in my mind porting is a bolt on or not. it should not matter which part you port.

if you can argue that certain parts can be ported and other can't you have never done any porting you your life. its pretty much the same process I don't enjoy it much and usually pay for CNC porting now a days ha ha.

all that being said I could give too sh$ts I just think is funny to watch the debate.

If a CAI is installed with hose clamps, would that be a strap-on? If so I'll fight to be on the top of that catergory...definitely don't want to be on the bottom...
