the Camaro stock has no sound at all .... that was the biggest thing for me so i added headers and exhaust and tune ... now i am happy

I think most would mod the car but it can be a lot of $$$

I only modded my car so I could have a lengthy forum signature.

On this forum, maaaybe.

In general? Doubt it.

Aftermarket doesn't always mean better. Internal changes requires a tad bit of mechanical understanding. As far as cosmetics, some people are not that into cars and wouldn't want to do anything to them. Everything else has been done for them from the factory. Especially since the car looks good from the giddy-up.

I wouldn't be surprised if modded ZL1s were the minority.

Mine is stock except for splash guards, but those are from the dealer so I think that still counts as stock. I thought about adding a stripe to the side, but never did anything about it.

Mine is stock for several reasons.
1. I do not want to void the warranty

2. I don't think performance mods would do much for a V6

3. Most of the cosmetic mods I have seen look tacky

4. I really do not think it needs much changed from how it came from the factory. Things I would not mind changing, like the visors, there is no mod for.

5. I would rather pay the extra money towards my loan to get it paid off early.

I have a 2012 2LS v6 that stayed 100% stock for 5 months, then I put GREAT brake pads on it (Carbotech XP8 on all 4 corners)

Then at the last oil change The stock tires were down to 3/8 (how can all 4 tires be down to 3/8 at only 20,000 miles ) So I found a set of ss/rs wheels and put new rubber on them. That's how stock it is.

Aside from the Money reason, mine is stock because I really respect Chevy's design team decisions on this car. Putting aftermarket ground effects and any other cosmetic changes are abominations to me.

Mine is completely as it was delivered. There are NO aftermarket anything, and plan to keep it that way.

If I keep until its a collectible, stock is the way to go!
