Those are the MS wheels. I wish the factory stripes were longer, but I already paid with them so I have to see how they look with the gfx. if they don't look right, they will come off and the others will go on. Same for the unpainted GFX. If they don't look good, they will be adjusted.

Really quick and dirty, but hopefully this helps you get the idea...I'm about to hit the sack but if someone wants to add gfx go for it.

Personally if I was lucky enough to have one of these, I'd be interested in seeing black gfx too. Have fun, I'm jealous.

I've seen a bunch of orange one's out and about. They just don't do it for me. I went back and forth on IOM a couple times but when I saw one I just wasn't wowed. I have gotten countless people tell me how they've seen other colors but black has been their favorite. Nothing beats a clean black 5th gen, but they don't stay clean for long.

WOW, I WAS RIGHT. Those bumblebee-style black stripes really do pull the look together. And to really get it accurate, along the edges of the stripes, I'll bet a silver pinstripe would look even better. Add color-matched GFX, I'm almost afraid to see it because I'll want it too bad.

Tough choice between the two but a great problem to have. They are both wicked. Stealth vs. Classic.

Black is stunning but you HAVE to be on top of maintaining the paint. Often some noticable swirls eventually from waxing. I would only have a black car with a garage.

I don't know if you have seen them both with your own eyes yet, but be sure that you do because pictures can lie.

I'd say IOM, but I'm a bit biased.

I've owned a few black cars and didn't want the hassle of maintaining it.

IOM!

26 cars since 1988, 1 black car in all. I loved my black 1992 Camaro only at night when you can't see the swirls and microscopic scratches, etc. that you would otherwise see in the bright sunny day, and that is pretty much everyday here in SoCal. I remember seeing it in the showroom floor, it looked GREAT. I was there to buy a red Camaro but ended up with the black one. Like I said, it looked great in the dealer's show room floor but that changed after just a few washes. I even started B-lining to my car every time I approached it because I wanted to avoid seeing the car at a certain angles in sunny days because I did not want to see the swirls, etc. You can hide them with frequent machine polishing and waxing but I swear, it seemed like as soon as I got it out of the garage or after washing, the swirl monkeys showed up and started dancing all over the car. I will never ever own a black car again. No offense intended to guys with black cars.

I'm glad I joined this forum because I probably would have wound up one of those guys wishing they had chosen a color other than black for their pride and joy car. I think I'm gonna go IOM with black stripes. My personal addition: silver pinstriping along the edges of the stripes, and also along the edges of the blacked-out bowties on front and back. That should look hott.

IOM is cool because it plays tricks on you. One photo it looks red and the next it is orange. If you are torn go orange with the black stripes.

Yeah I'm pretty much decided that I'm gonna go IOM/IOM interior, Black Bumblebee-style stripes with silver pinstripes around the edges of the black stripes. Also going to black out the taillights and bowties. And color-match the GFX to IOM too.

IOM is the way to go. I HAD a black F150 and HAVE a black Denali.......... Man is it hard to keep clean and it shows swirl marks too easy. Metallic colors tend to hide them better. I really wanted black myself but man I cant deal with two of them.

Yeah, I'm doing IOM. Do you have any more pics of yours posted anywhere here? If not, could you take some? I've been trying to find someone to photoshop some stripes and stuff on one for me to get an idea of what my idea will look like. If you could do that for me, huge for you!!!
