I have Autoarmor paint protection and undercoating on the car. http://www.pandlauto.com/paint_protection.html
The Clear Bra comes up to the front of the hood. Not on the hood. Can't see. http://www.goclearshield.com/ The 5" Clear Bra strip across the doors has already prevented a door ding that I had to scrub white paint off of. Paid for itself! You can see the Clear Bra bottom line on the door if close enough and light is right. Hope this helps.

Damage can happen quickly and not be on a long trip. Mine is not a DD but I wanted protection from the start. Especially here with 2 seasons. Winter and road construction. Good luck.

Make sure to get the 3M on the "gills" in front of the rear wheels. That is a huge target for these cars since it sticks out past the side of the car and can take rocks rather well.

I got the Xpel clear bra instead of the 3M. Much longer warrantee and many other improvements! They took the model number of my car and cut a bra that fits the hood. I had the entire blue part of the hood covered, but not the black mat paint or the black decal part. I can put you intouch with the salesman, David. It was their first Hot Wheels and now they have the template! Cost was comparable, had the hood, bumper, lights and mirrors done for $945. Great job and 10 year guarantee!

The 3M goes right up to the grill so it does cover the black/red stripe in the front grill. It literally covers everything on the front bumper except the headlights, DRL's, and the upper and lower grill.

So I have been looking into things for a while in regards to the 21" tires that we have on our cars. I've had the thought in the back of my head of what happens if I get a flat and the damage is bad enough to the tire that it has to be replaced.
So I phoned the tire shops here in town and checked online. There is really only one option in OEM sizes and that is Pirelli. All of them said that the tire is a special order and would take a minimum 3 to 4 WEEKS to get one tire in. And the price per tire was running from anywhere from $1000 to $1400 EACH. (This is in Canadian dollars) Needless to say I was not impressed. There are maybe one other tire option out of the USA, but again with the price of them, plus shipping, duty charges, and the exchange rate it almost comes to the same price. With that I started looking around at 20" rims for the car. A 20" tire is much more readily available and would be maybe a day or two to get one here in town. Plus they are a lot cheaper. Most 20" staggered wheels with tires packages are running around $2500 to $3000. (Again prices are Canadian) I wanted to find a wheel that was close to matching the current ones on the HWSE, but that has been near impossible unless I want to buy them from GM. Then I have to get them painted to match the current ones and I am not a fan of painting rims because a lot of paint shops just do not know what they are doing, and if something goes wrong with the paint then I am fighting with a paint shop and I just don't want to deal with that. I have found wheel that I really like. It does not look anything like the current wheels but I still think that they look awesome, but I want to see what everyone else thinks of them. They are Niche Targa M130, and I will be getting 20x8.5 on the fronts and 20x10.5 on the rears. Here is a link to see pictures of the rims. For some reason I can not link the pictures in here, keeps coming up with a red "X". http://www.mhtwheels.com/mht-luxury-...el.cfm?id=5335

those wheels look nice , assuming you would be getting black ones. those prices are unreal! tire rack 's price - yes us dollars was $ 527 for fronts ea , $ 541 for ea rear each plus $175 to ship = $ 2308 plus tax . i have not priced any in canada hoping i don't have to for awhile.
