I had some dark stars on my 4th gen before I got a hell of a deal on a parts car with welds. I have no complaints and had no problems with them. I keep considering swapping back because I like the looks better of the dark stars, but I don't care to get the tires swapped back so I will probably wait till I have to buy tires for one of the other race cars. Can't beat the price IMO. When I got mine we had a group buy on a local forum and everybody else I know that has them has been pleased also.

Only issue I heard so far was finish is soft. Gotta use care with them or they scuff and dull out. Not an issue with me.

Oh nice. They are pretty pricey compared to a weld's they cost about the same.

I'm saving for welds. I thought about D/S too but welds are bad azz and I can drive those on the street if need be lol.

Spark plugs and freeze plugs are the two I can think of.

Honestly though without taking a look at your old plugs its a crap shoot, but both high rpm use or FI may have me considering a colder plug. Your mods don't seen to drastic though, so I probably wouldn't even worry about it.

Haha spark plugs. But yeah my mods aren't really all that much, but I'm planning on going with ported heads and N2O in the near future so I guess I want to get them now lol

Guess that would have been nice to know in the last post huh

I suspect N2O would like a cooler plug also, but I'm not well versed on nitrous. I blew up the first and only motor I ever had on nitrous years ago and vowed to stay away from it since.

Stock ones are fine bro. Your not raising the compression, BUT when you start spraying. That's a different story lol.

Are any of you cam/heads guys running a treated or aftermarket throttlebody or intake mani? Kind of tired of seeing the fake dyno or buttdyno posts for these....
