such a beautiful color, so jealous of you guys!

When I was in the market for a GTO I promised myself I would get an Impulse Blue Metallic.....ended up with Quicksilver Metallic. Then when I was looking at an SS, I said ok here is my chance to get an awesome blue! Rally Yellow!

For the love of god, when I get a C7 down the road, I will be getting a blue one!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dude... those are nice.
But, have you considered the 20" SLP wheels? They are darn near exact to the hwse 21"

So I phoned the tire shops here in town and checked online. There is really only one option in OEM sizes and that is Pirelli. All of them said that the tire is a special order and would take a minimum 3 to 4 WEEKS to get one tire in. And the price per tire was running from anywhere from $1000 to $1400 EACH. (This is in Canadian dollars)

Needless to say I was not impressed. There are maybe one other tire option out of the USA, but again with the price of them, plus shipping, duty charges, and the exchange rate it almost comes to the same price.

With that I started looking around at 20" rims for the car. A 20" tire is much more readily available and would be maybe a day or two to get one here in town. Plus they are a lot cheaper. Most 20" staggered wheels with tires packages are running around $2500 to $3000. (Again prices are Canadian)

I wanted to find a wheel that was close to matching the current ones on the HWSE, but that has been near impossible unless I want to buy them from GM. Then I have to get them painted to match the current ones and I am not a fan of painting rims because a lot of paint shops just do not know what they are doing, and if something goes wrong with the paint then I am fighting with a paint shop and I just don't want to deal with that.

I have found wheel that I really like. It does not look anything like the current wheels but I still think that they look awesome, but I want to see what everyone else thinks of them.

They are Niche Targa M130, and I will be getting 20x8.5 on the fronts and 20x10.5 on the rears. Here is a link to see pictures of the rims. For some reason I can not link the pictures in here, keeps coming up with a red "X".

Yes but then I have to get them painted and like I said there isn't a shop here that I trust to do that. They are all about quantity, not quality.

Also a lot of people have those here and I wanted to get something different. I am still contemplating getting the red pin stripe put on the edge just like our wheels.

Since they sell them in black, it should be easy enough to add the red stripe. I am considering buying the wider version that comes in grey with the bright windows.

What size rims and tires? 20's I'm guessing?

I'm going with a 20x8.5 on the fronts and 20x10.5 on the rears.
275/40ZR20 for the front tires and 295/40ZR20 for the rears.

This sounds interesting do you know if its available in Toronto or have a link for me to inquire? Just picked mine up will be using it as a DD and 45m klm per year and winter driving.

I use to have the fabric Bra's on my IROC but wasn't crazy about the migrating debris getting behind the bra and rubbing the paint. My last car 02 BMW 540 6spd, put 500m klm on it and had to paint it every 2 years.

What do you guys suggest we get?
