I am curious as to why this is dissapointing to you. Did you really expect that there were no parts on your Camaro made in other countries? You will find parts made in India as well as S. Korea, probably Japan and yes, even the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Or are just using your lamp to make a point? A valid one for sure. But being disappointed indicates you had other expectations.

Well obviously I have struck a sore spot with many supporters of china on this board. Yes I would prefer not to buy anything made in china. At 41 I'm old school enough to not want to support a communist society. It's the way I grew up and you won't change my belief in that so there is no reason for political discussion on it. Mods please close this or delete thread
