What difference was that from stock? About 300rpm higher at 70mph?

Yea that is the M6 with 3.91 gears I can see that first gear shift coming real fast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is alot friendlier to drive around town and the highway is good also Just one of the great things about having double over drive

Had 3.91 gears in one of my old school cars and the highway made it scream

It's hard to get these cars out of the hole with those 20" wheels tall tires and 3.45's from the factory

R E M I N D E R

If you haven't RSVPd for Dyno Day at Florida Speed and Power (FSP) now is the time to do it. Check post #1 at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338081 to make sure you're on the list.

IT'S FINALLY HERE
THE FUN IS NEXT SATURDAY!!!

Attachment 600273

Once again Matt Sorian & Rodney Whittaker of Florida Speed & Power (FSP) in Bradenton have invited the Tri-County Camaro Club, SWFL Chapter, to a fun-filled CAMARO DYNO DAY.

SATURDAY

22 February 2014.

The shop has graciously extended the invitation to all Camaro enthusiasts in Florida, and you can't beat that with a stick, or souped-up Camaro !!!

(All Camaro Clubs are invited, but if you are not affiliated with a club, you are more than welcome too)

FSP Mom & Granny are catering the event with homemade Italian foods, heros and desserts.

Bring your appetite, do not eat the day before so you have plenty of room. Those that went last year can attest you'll be privy to the best food this side of Heaven!

That should spike the interest for most of us, but just in case it's not enough, FSP is planning several "giveaways" and door prizes will be raffled off!!!

Matt has a reputation as one of the finest tuners in the country and we are very fortunate to have him so close by. Rodney is no doubt one of the finest mechanics you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to make fast Camaros MUCH faster! They both have a wealth of information about our cars and are happy to share; so bring your cars and questions and let's have some fun!!!!!

Please arrive at FSP between 9:30 and 10:00 AM.

If you would like to join the "Camarovan" from Fort Myers to Dyno Day, please be at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant at the intersection of Palm Beach Blvd and I-75 no later than 7:00AM.

If you will be accessing I-75 north of Palm Beach Blvd, let us know and we will let you know what time we will be passing your exit.

In addition to once again welcoming us to their high performance shop, and making sure our stomachs are full, FSP is offering the following special deal for the day:

$50 for Dyno pulls (2x) and additionally FSP will include (1x) 1/4 mile run. The bolt-on cars run very well on this. It's an artificial 60' time because there is no wasted energy in tire spin and it's pretty cool to see. FSP will print out the 1/4 mile times.

Put your car on the dyno and see how fast it will run the 1/4 mile without the strain of the drag strip.

Last year Matt made several people happy by tuning their cars during the day, but that slowed down the dyno, so no tuning this year.

PORTED THROTTLE BODIES!!!

VMax Ported Throttle Bodies will be in stock and installed for free during the event.
$150 (w/your core)

Check them out at
http://vmaxmotorsports.com/

FSP will be providing all the food (food you will never forget!!!) and it is imperative we give them an accurate headcount for the day. If you would like to attend this fun event let Tri-County Camaro Club, SWFL Chapter, know via post to this thread, post at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338081or send me a PM. Let us know how many people will be in your car. We will consolidate the list and provide it to FSP. Please include the number of lucky people that will be in your car.
