Lets be real most bolt on anything won't run low 11s! Fastest l99 bolt on 11.44 is mid 11s not low, I agree it is possible and CAN be done. But lets face it, most of the time no... Not for camaro and not for mustangs! I laugh every time I hear Bolton 5.0s run 10s, ya maybe but most of the time they run 12s lol

So what can they run and who's faster, who cares...your car will only be as fast as the time and money you can put in it! Some of us have more time and money, most likely your not gonna be faster then that guy. Just how I see it.

I have only 3k in my car, did all my own work and it runs decent so far. I am happy with it and it will only get better, should I feel bad because I have a cam and a bolt on l99 or 5.0 has ran faster then me... Naaa most cammed camaros don't even break 11s!

I disagree, I've gone with camaroJT to the track and he will run his times back to back EVERY SINGLE TIME like .010 apart . It's all in the combo and tune. And 11.75 isn't mid 11s either

Not a true professional but a hell of a lot more experience then a guy on a forum talking about a car he doesn't even own. Like I said, Track Pack is a joke. BBP is a joke too looking at the shit wheels and tires they bundle with it.

Still faster then you, and when did I comment on being consistent. If your car runs a number then ya you should run that number. I am talking about the other 100 thousand Bolton cars in this country that don't touch the fast list for either camp. My car has 6-7 runs on it setup like this, not worried about getting faster with a little seat time and trans work.

My point is way to many people get into these stupid threads, when both cars are plenty fast. The fast list on these sites should be looked at as what is capable of the car not what it should run! I have YET to see a Bolton 5.0 or l99 run 11s around here so must not be such an easy task as you make it seem.

Still I bet I can touch them times making less power right now. My old pass on an emailed tune, today I'm about 230lbs lighter LOL I'm just messing with ya bud. You have to keep in mind DA plays a major roll in ETs out here theres low low low 11sec bolt-on 5.0s I'm talking 11.10s-11.30s and L99s ranging from 11.45 (camarojt) to 12.20s. I must be the only one that admits a coyote put together right can see crazy times. I have only seen 2 bolt-on coyotes see 10.90s here in Texas and my in law being one of them. I just wanna thank the guys spending time and new ideas to see how far these cars can get. If someone was to tell me a bolt-on L99 can see 11.99 back in 2012 I would be sure ok but as soon as I saw trw427ss, Rhino79, camarojt run these time I was like screw it i'll get one too and baam 11.91 @ 114.88 mph witht the tune being 80% there I was amazed for a 275lb fatass make that pass lol. So to me it was an easy task I listen to what tire height, how to launch it was simple as A,B, C.

heck isn't prostock John 12.02 or something waiting to see how it goes after the Rhino trans tune.

Right now there is a 2014 Mustang GT Track Pack sitting in my garage. Before that a 2012 Camaro SS & 2007 C6 Z51 and before that a 2006 GTO all of which I bought new. So I have a pretty damn good idea of where most cars stack up on here be it straight line or in the twisties.

With that being said I'd love to know exactly what your comparing the wheels or tires to that you say they're shit? Wheel appearance is subjective so who cares what you think, I like them. As for tires there isn't a better performer at the price point of the PZero. Unless of course you're saying it should've been on bigger wheels and tires.

Even then at some point a happy medium had to be reached and I think Ford did just fine.

I don't know what bolt-on GTs AUTOS are running by me, but there is a guy who went 11.4 stick, and I'm pretty sure he dipped into the 11.3's. That's impressive. Slicks, skinnies, factory 3.73's, full exhaust, tune, air intake and whatever else is over the counter.

I just want to go 11.xx anything stock internal with 18's front and back, no seats out, as I drive the car. After that I'm willing to do anything to run quicker SI and then do heads and cam.

That local stick GT went high 11's before slicks and skinnies so I feel like that's comparable.

That's about right..AT atco...I have seen high 10 sec coyotes with NO power adders, no N02...Nothing.....skinnies, FULL bolton's is it.

My friend who goes to Atco all the time runs consistent 11.9s @116 with his Auto 2013 base GT in good air. His mods so far are: CAI, xpipe, Tune, and skinny DRs. He went 12.4 bone stock.

He is a great driver and cuts low lights consistently. My full bolton 2013 1LE (minus a tune) as you know will only run 12.3s in mineshaft air. He is a better driver than me, but maybe not .4-5 better.

All that being said as you say most Camaros and Mustang 5.0s are pretty close with very few bolton Coyotes going 11s. As for me I have never seen any bolton Camaro go 11s. The ones I have seen were cammed.

It's all about the driving. In the 1/4 it's L99s FTW against 5.0s. Props to your driving and your car. Both plenty fast and competitive agreed. But well driven 5.0s are tough.

I have a secret weapon planned this spring for my friend however. Bring a gun to a knife fight. I hope he didn't escalate over the winter. I am tired of him going on green and still running me down.

From what I understand, Atco is a fast track, right? We don't have fast tracks, were 600-800ft above sea level, and DA is only good when it's to cold to get traction! So that has a big impact on cars here, takes allot of fine tuning out here. From what I personally see, Bolton camaro and 5.0s are mid-low 12. But I am not talking cars with skinnys and slicks. I am talking your avg car running in street trim.

Yes, Atco is a fast track. I have not seen in the last two years a stock SS go under 13 seconds at Atco. But I have seen a few stock 5.0s do it. It is a lighter car car with similar power. But to to your point the Camaros and Mustangs are competitive. But Boss 302s do not seem to have a hard time running mid 12s stock. Perhaps on the average a Boss 302 is a better driver. My opinion is mod for mod equal driver 5.0s have the edge. Physics.

They look fine but the wheels are 30 pounds. The tires are also shit. There are much better tires for the money as they are $300 a tire.
