dale, on a more serious note, i couldn't find any mention of costs for drag or auto-x, except that i have to buy a helmet. i mean, other than hotel costs/food/drink, what else should i budget for?

i did read that, but my noggin is rather large, so i'm sure finding one that fits would be more of a hassle than i want...if it really comes to it, i can put it on credit

eh, found a cheap-ish helmet on saferacer.com. they won't ship to hawaii, but at least i can send it to the parents and pick it up on my way down to fest

Yeah. I bought a helmet from them and its too small. I'm hoping there will be somebody at the fest with a helmet that is too large so we could trade. I can wear mine but its pretty uncomfortable.
