This thread has been kind of hard to follow since the beginning. Is this head unit NOT compatible with the 2010 Camaros or was that earlier post referring to the MyLink retrofit?

also, do you retain door chimes/reverse parking sensor beeps with this, or is there a way to retain them?

Yes u retain everything but onstar and xm radio from what I heard.

I was told Onstar in the 2010-2012 are in the mirror so they work but 2013-2014 are in the dash so no. No XM on any year unless we can download the app and get it to work on this unit.

That screen looks gorgeous.
By the way, if you absolutely must have sirius xm, there is a work around for this. It's not the most ideal but it works. If you have a sirius xm subscription, you can download the app on your smartphone and listen to it through the aux/usb cord. I've done this many times in my own car to listen to previous howard stern recordings since the sirius xm player in our camaros in the stock radio are only real time. You won't be able to control it from the head unit, but you'll still have it, just with your phone.

hows overall performance? sound quality/adjustability? probably looking into getting one of these over the next few months. also, i'm reading these things are using DDR2 ram, and from a previous post where another member was shaving his down to fit, it looked like the ram chip was easily accessible. anyone know/think this is upgradable? forgive me if im asking a lot of questions, i just like to do my research lol
