Car enthusiasts come from all walks of life. Some are young, old, or in-between. Some live comfortably, others can barely afford what they have. To me, all that matters is the common brotherhood bred from an interest in cool cars.

What is a cool car? Whatever one makes it to be. That doesn't mean everybody has to love it. What's important is that the owner loves it. I know guys with Lambos and Porsches (I used to have one), and I know guys with primered old Novas and Dusters. We all have the same common interest: we dig cars.

Anyway, the SRT4 is a rocket in the right hands, with the right equipment. Cool? I think so. Grandma ain't gonna buy an SRT4; it's an enthusiast car targeted in a more affordable market than the Camaro. The Camaro is overpriced. Had I not gotten the super deal I did, I wouldn't own one. It's all a matter of preference. Full throttle, brothers and sisters.

But I recognize that almost anyone could take a cheaper car and wax the floor with me. Doesn't mean I have to justify my purchase by pointing it out to everyone.

You bought your Camaro because you like it. Every time you take the oosition of I spent more up frony and "could" do xyz, there's someone else who spent more than you who could have done xyz.

LOL! This site is hilarious. Last year, a guy posted that he sold his Camaro SS and bought a new EVO X. He wasn't being smug or anything, just stating how he traded the Camaro. My God, people jumped his nuts so fast, calling him every name in the book (see ya later loser, enjoy your rice rocket, etc., etc., etc.). With this thread (the flip side of the coin), a guy says he saw an SRT-4 and decided to chase him down. Now, this guy gets his nuts jumped for running down a Neon. Some folks you just can't please. I suppose just come on here, look around and God forbid you post for fear of getting "burned at the stake". I personally didn't think the OP said anything wrong. Carry on lynch mob...carry on! BTW, I like all these little pocket rockets: SRT-4, Cobalt SS, SVT Focus, EVO, STI, etc.. All are awesome cars! I loved my EVO VIII!

I just couldn't see it being a daily driver for me. It would be a fun car to own, but I don't think I'd like it for day to day use like I do with my car. To each their own!
