Added a mail slot blackout in matte finish from Big Worm Graphixs as well as a rear end blackout. I think I am still going to pull the rear bow tie and blackout the whole strip and then add a Victory Red CAMARO across that area.

The diffuser looks good in that picture, did you get it to fit better?

It has gaps in the corners that I simply cannot eliminate. The owner of IVS has indicated its happening because the outer piece gets deformed during the process of attaching the inner piece to it and I can confirm that. There is simply. I way to get rid of these gaps and I'm not happy. Now that said he is working on a way to attach the inner section AFTER the outer is already installed and is scheduled to get back with me in a few days. Either way he committed to making it right. He is in Michigan so I am hoping I can bring the car to him and get this sorted out the way it should be.

Congrats! Awesome build thread. As fellow Livernois customer you will very happy -not only the performance, but the reliability! I'm over 11,000+ miles since Livernois did my Camaro build.
The spring after my winter build, drove from Iowa to Florida and back, my mpg went up to 27-28 mpg (when stock gears were in) Now with the 3:91's -around 21-23 I've auto-x'ed hard at some GoodGuys events, ripped some massive burn outs and been caught in major rain storms. Hell, at the 1st Indy C5Fest, when it was 90 degrees hot with 90% humidity, watching the Camaro's on the dyno that was there, I asked what was high HP so far? They reply with a ...."well, should be some higher but the guys with blowers are being p***y's because of heat, and won't pull" I walked over, grabbed my Camaro out of the Livernois booth, and let them rip!!! No problems! No issues! All perma grin! Again looking great and congrats! |

Got the JDP clutch res installed today. Minor but important mechanical mod. Gotta say I'm not to impressed with the kit components however. The clamp for the plug on the brake res was too small to even come close to sliding over the barb. I tightened a black cable tie on it until tomorrow when I can pickup a correct hose clamp.
Then the supplied clamp for the barb at the firewall doesn't seem tight enough either. Normally in my experience you would apply the clamp on the hose just behind the barb however it was to loose to do that so I was forced for now to apply it actually on the hose where the barb is but just slightly behind it. Think I'll be looking for a smaller one and redoing that aspect. |

Dropped the car at a local custom shop for the vertical door install! I know it's a mod people either love or hate but after 41 years I have yet to ever see a car in my area with them at any shows or around town. I have always wanted to do this to a car and the Camaro is the first of those I have customized that I think they really work on.
