2011 Camaro -- what do you want in it?

my wish list would be:

1) see through top! I don't care if its removable or not. Also don't cut down on the head room! should make more room?
2) softer door panels... more smudge proof.
3) "oh crap" handle for passengers
4) body color painted front license plate bracket and shark fin
5) smaller/hidden shark fin.
6) rotatable tires/all season tire option for V6/RS package. Maybe have a delete upgraded wheel option for the V6/RS guys.
7) single zone autmoatic climate control at least! dual would be perfect for me and my wife. Yes we use it all the time in our GMC Acadia.
8) cooled seats... my wife says I have a hot ass (yes I don't exactly believe that either)
9) A self closing/latching convertable. my 93 olds cutlass supreme vert I had to latch it closed myself it was a pain and I'm way older now.
10) Gas door opening controlled from inside. Make door metal too.
11) Push button tap shift in the wheel not where it is now or maybe even have it there and on the console too.
12) smaller rearview mirror and maybe higher up on the windshield for us poor tall guys.
13) Better sun visors... the ones I have now are useless for me. they also don't cover any of the side windows.
14) factory window tint on back and all side windows.
15) "curb assist" review mirrors so when you put your car in reverse it tilts the side view mirrors down
16) if your going to have sensors to help back up please make them as hidden as possible... also maybe some front sensors too like in a caddy DTS?
17) height adjustible passenger seat.
18) power lumbar for both driver and front passenger... maybe even an up/down and in/out settings.
19) seat belt in the seats! I loved them in my Trailblazer.
20) HUD and full ABL.
21) More interior color options... maybe an option to match any exterior color to the interior not just IOM.
22) Push button start/autolock doors when key is away from the car.
23) and finally a cone of slience/darkness so my wife won't hear or see me talk to a hot chick. maybe even an ejection seat if said hot chick agrees to go for a ride in my car.

boy... according to this list it might sound as I hate my CAMARO but really I don't I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything else on the road today. but a 2011+ with all these well that's another story.

I like that one, that one is a must have.

i think GM needs to offer s/c option. or confirm that SLP options can still be purchased through a dealer when ordering a camaro.

A quick off-hand comment: as a 2SS owner I'd like to see OnStar offered as a choice-an option. The Camaro body is beautiful- it really bothers me to see the cheap black plastic "shark fin" on the roof--besides I have no use for OnStar. (or at least hide it better like they do on the Vette)

u'd be surprised on how useful onstar is.when i got in a wreck in my cobalt by the time i got out of the car onstar had already called the police and they were there by the time i stepped out of the car which was like 2-3 minutes.

Hello this is my first post. I plan on buying a new Camaro in the coming year. I would like to see a gold color like the one on the homepage for the 2011 Camaro. Don't beat me up but Ford has a nice gold color(Aztec Gold) for their F-150 truck. I think that color or something simular would look nice. Right now I'm leaning toward IOM or Synergy Green.

How about redesigning the interior? I mean the car can't get any better on the outside (except for maybe the shark fin) but the interior(mainly the dashboard) kills it. It almost seems like they tried too hard to make it look cool...keep it simple and don't make it so flashy. Maybe it can be similar to the corvette's? Also, the trunk opening could be a bit bigger, I've never seen one so small. They could also get a little more light in the back...anyone that sits back there feels like they're in the trunk! NAV working along with onstar would be great.

Your comment regarding the availability of remote start with a manual. I do not remember where I saw it, but GM had a manual transmission that had a park position on it.

That may not be the exact sequence, but you get the gist. I would like it, plus one thing about getting a manual, it reduces the number of people that can drive it. I worked at a college while attending college and they quit buying manual vehicles because too many students that were working did not know how to drive manuals.

I belive I mentioned this, but I would like LED lights used in all locations. I agree with moving the backup lights to a different spot. Also, why not use the same light set up as used overseas to use amber turn signals on the back end so people can see that you are turning easier instead of just seeing all red.

On top of what i stated earlier, i think a few commercials showing more than just 3 seconds of a comp generated camaro would be good for advertising as well. As big as transformers was, plenty of people still haven't seen the new car(i know, it's quite sad) and bit more air time for the car showing it off better might just be enough to enlighten more people and bring in a few more sales, just a thought of mine

Push button start would be good. Along with backup camera and individual climate controls. Better dash by replacing the plastic look with something not so cheap looking (brushed aluminum?). Bigger center console and a place for your sunglasses. What would be cool would be to replace the plastic trim above the center AC vents with some technology like a display that displayed stock quotes, weather, traffic reports or what song is playing on your Ipod connected to the USB port. Just thinking out of the box here. Oh and more color choices
