If you are buying different reverse cameras, do you need to buy cameras with guidelines for the reverse camera or is that a function of the unit and you need a camera without the guidelines?

Based on their warranty, I wish you all luck. You cannot send the complete unit back for repair, as the customs cost is now prohibitive to send back anything electronic back to China for repair.

So, you will have to determine if the faceplate or the chassis is the problem, take the unit apart and hope that you are sending the right part that is actually failed. Then YOU will have to pay to ship to China, and it won't be cheap. Then they will "repair" the problem and send it back to you...you have no idea of what the turn around time will be. And what happens when the face plate is bad and you send it back and they see that you "modified" the part to get it to fit better in the dash, does that void the warranty?

Too many if's.

I know that if my Alpine has an issue, the dealer will replace it during the warranty period....no waiting, no repair, I get a new unit. Don't have to send it to China....just saying....

I am willing to take that chance to get something that looks factory and has so many options!! I am not worried because I have been in the car audio scene since I was 16 years old and have never had a problem with a head unit ever. How many electronics in the world are made in China? Almost everything!!

Yea it's a risk but I think it's worth it... It's not hard to repair or find someone to repair it.... But either way this radio isn't for everyone if you if's it too much then it's not for you

I get what ur saying Jeffa, but look at the Sosche Kit and the issues everyone is having with them. Yeah its easier to swap it, but u can ship these parts USPS International express for a reasonable price.

As for return time who knows, but I will say the guy has had great communication with me and I ordered the unit Thurs which would of been Fri in China, and its arriving tomorrow.

Do you need a USB bluetooth adapter to use the bluetooth from your phone. If so, will any of them work?

Does your phone support Bluetooth? If it does, you should just need to enable it and pair it with the HITS radio. If you have a somewhat modern smartphone, it should have bluetooth built in.

I have bluetooth on the phone. I didn't know if the Hits had build in bluetooth or if I needed a bluetooth adapter for the radio itself.
