Not saying you have'nt had problems with yours, but if they were that bad from GM, and from an analyst point of view, would'nt this be affecting other inserts and other owners be complaining a lot more? Recalls? TB? Just saying.

There have been many that ive seen across this forum alone. I actually drive mine daily in the florida sun as well. Maybe im in the 10% or less with the issue but its still an issue but not enough for a recall. Since im on my 4th one through 3 different dealerships its obvious that at least myself and those 3 service writers could see these issues. All I can say is if youre not having having issues with yours then be happy. Some of you guys crack me up, whats the difference of me dipping mine to g.m painting over carbon fiber, none both will be covering it up.

Hydrodip will hold up good on any exterior part, its just as durable as your paint. I had my rear diffuser and some trunk pieces hydrodipped, clearcoat is also applied after the dip so no worries about durability
