Sorry to hear that the venture capitalist route did not go well. Hope that you bounce back soon.

Good wishes to everyone at Pfadt.

Sorry to hear about this. I've only got a couple of your products (springs and headers) but I can tell the amount of pride and love that went into engineering and producing your products. Your name has become synonomis with quality and will not be forgotten. Thanks for all you've done and best of luck to you guys.

I can't help but think from the statement about investors not wanting to pony up for growth with Pfadt that perhaps the peak of the 5th Gen has already passed....

....I would like to think some of it had to do with healthy competition among suppliers...perhaps the numbers, or future numbers, of 5th Gen Camaros just isn't there to support all the companies making after-market parts....

....Just sayin', it has to have a limit somewhere....Good luck to all involved....

I never like seeing ANY type of business close its doors it is never a fun thing to do. With that said I wonder what will happen to all the PFadt header guys? I was never a fan but I've been talking to a lot of unhappy people who have them and I won't name the VENDOR that won't help warranty them but kinda sucks and I see why now.

I agree with everything except for the part about raising prices. It seems like there is more to this story. Any company that makes superior products and is backlogged as much as they supposedly are should have no trouble with funding and/or investors. And also, why would any potential investor wanna change a successful formula? Regardless tho, it is a shame to see a company that makes great products go under.

I've never heard of a company closing because it had too many people who wanted to hand them money.

You have the new c7 vette market they were probably looking into, plus the 6th gen camaro will be here before you know it, and then they had investments and parts for the cadillac ats. They also branched out into turbo kits for the ats, headers on camaros and vettes, custom tuning, plus whatever suspension parts.

I think it was they just grew too big too fast, and tried to do everything everywhere. There's only so much a small company can do at one time.
