Again, US Company profits equal US jobs. Who do you think manufactures many of the parts that are shipped to Canada to assemble these cars? Idiots.

Wouldn't kill your thread like that. Just another one for the ignore list. I work from home as well so same here regarding the fridge.

Heading to your site now to order some polishing compounds and perhaps one of these polishers. Been wanting to give them a try for some time now and it's close to car show season.

Thanks for giving us a shot! I have all the confidence in the world that you'll like the Cyclo, and especially our new polishes!

2 4" pads, but you will use about the same amount of product. You have slightly more pad surface area to work with, so you may use a little more product, but the difference is insignificant.

Is this an assumption, or did you get that straight from Cyclo themselves?

Remember that GDP is the measure of products produced within the borders of the country. IE: GM manufacturing in Canada does not promote our GDP.

Last time I checked, GM is still an American car company, and most of the profits they received, regardless of where the vehicle is manufactured and sold, helps US business. You OBVIOUSLY don't know enough about the economy and how it works to comment.
Exactly, thanks for responding while I was away.

What I'm saying is that the whole argument of "Made in the USA" isn't logical.

It's the fundamentals of trade, and it is what makes us richer. It's a two way street. We trade with others to free up time and resources to do things we are better at. Trade lowers the cost for consumers the same as increasing income.

In the short run, yes jobs can be saved, in the long run it slows economic growth.

If we didn't support globalization we wouldn't be able to put our businesses in other areas, Adam's wouldn't be able to sell in Australia and McDonald's wouldn't be able to saturate the fast food market across the globe. As stated previously, it's a two way road and we save our time and resources for doing things we are better at.
We import far more than we export, why else do you think our economy is headed downhill so fast? Well maybe the additional taxes, healthcare requirements and benefits for those to who feel entitled and are to lazy to get off their ass and work add to it also, but the primary reason is our labor laws and taxes hinder competitive production costs and everybody wants to send their money to China and other similar countries to save a buck buying inferior products.

Just a little fact, the only commodity we export more of than we import is agricultural commodities, the sad thing is this nowhere near makes up for the amount of money we spend overseas for industrial products.

I can go into an hour long dissertation on how bad our import vs. export situation is and how that is hampering our economy, oh wait I already did that when I was working on my PhD in economics.

Go ahead, take 6 years studying economics and come back when you realize you had no idea how bad you misinterpreted what it takes to facilitate a good economy.

Oh.. you're a member of the "tea party". Explains everything, nvm.
I purchased the Camaro because I am a Camaro enthusiast and like mentioned earlier GM is still a U.S. company. Canada also shares many similar labor laws and practices as the U.S. therefore trade with Canada is a lot more fair and does facilitate a better global economy that we would like to see.

I do believe I have purchased far more vehicles that were manufactured here in the U.S. than probably anybody else commenting in this thread. At any given time I own a fleet of at least 30 pickups all manufactured in the US, sure I could save my company a few buck buying overseas vehicles, but why support companies that I will never possibly see a benefit from when I can keep my money in the economy that supports my business?

Oh.. you have connections with OPEC. Explains everything. I bet you are also against oil production in the U.S. and love paying astronomical prices for oil.

Also remember that the money GM makes trickles down with infrastructure they build in the U.S. (office buildings, plant upgrades etc.), this in fact does promote our GDP. You gotta look at the whole picture.

But if Americans bought stuff made in the USA as much as they could, we would not need trade with other countries as much since we would all be busy making stuff for USA consumers.
