Need good place for Window tinting - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I live in Eldersburg and looking to get window tinting done, need good workmanship at a reasonable price.

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but if anyone knows a good place in Silver Spring, I would appreciate it also.

I didn't get a tint done, but I know that Westminster Speed and Sound does tints. (Just had my amp replaced last week there.) Seems like a quality place, and they've been around a long time. It's in downtown Westminster, close to McDaniel College.
Anybody else used them?

So apparently is it illegal to tint the front windshield in MD. Not sure if I want to even both tinting with that in mind.

My brother and I both have out windshield tinted. My car is a daily with about 9k a year his is a weekend car. Im a black on black car with 25 all the way around, 45 windshield with a strip. Never been pulled over. At my work many cops come in and they know its tinted but they just look the other way. I have had my car done for a year and a half but added the windshield back in october i believe. So ive been riding around with all the windows up and its definitely noticeable. Im in Germantown.

Wouldnt that almost be like wearing sunglasses at night (cue the song). It sounds like a terrible idea, regardless of how good it looks.

No not at all. Have you ever looked out of 50% tint? even 35% tint? Its darker yes but when added with headlights its like its not even there. My car has 6k HID's and i noticed almost no difference driving at night.

Haha hey i understand its a bold move, but i actually got my windshield done very cheap, that way IF i get pulled over and need it removed, i dont have a lot of money in it. You car will look great either way.

My car is the first black 4th gen, my bro has the CRT SS and the guy on the end in the other 4th gen has his tinted as well.

I've had windshield done since I bought the car, never had an issue w cops or visibility. Time to sack up and take the plunge...
