With everything included, there can be some sticker shock. But add the peace of mind that the mods were done to provide safe and reliable improved performance goes a long ways. Also it does help with resale value. |

I'm not so sure it will help with resale value. In other news I'll be installing a long list of parts in including the PFADT headers this weekend. I already have a stock exhaust clip and a Stock Exhaust with 100% NoWeeds diverters open clip. I plan to go ahead and get the other two clips done as well so you guys can hear all four configurations.

Man it sucks to have to tune my Z just for headers. I guess I will just stick to just the Roto Fab intake :(

So, I installed my Stainless Power headers this weekend and the install into the Noweeds system was a breeze. Unfortunately, I think I cracked a spark plug during the install since I now have a misfire in cylinder 5 and the car backfires under acceleration. My plug wires are all new, and are nice and tight, so that is why I am leaning towards the plug being cracked. If the new plug I picked up at lunch doesn't fix the misfire, then I'll be swapping out wires again. The car does sound great though!

I would think you should be ok with just installing Pfadt headers, and catts without a tune, although your not going to pick up as much, Those headers IMOP are the best because they help keep the low end torque that LT's normally loose as the power moves up in the RPM band. I wish i had gotten those installed on my car....INfact i remember seeing a thread that they did and installed their headers without a tune,,,If you think about it,your not changing any A/F ratio's a CAI would need a tune and effect the tune more than headers installed with Catts.. enjoy it..

Mine was definitely not decel pop. I knew I had a misfire because the car was backfiring badly and surging on acceleration. The service stabilitrack warning came on as well while on my test drive. I hooked it up to my scanner and pulled the codes and it showed a misfire on cylinder 5. I pulled the plug tonight and it was cracked in several places. Replaced it and went for a drive and all is well. It pulls like a freight train and sounds like a beast! |

I got the car all done today, it was a long weekend project, Solid Subframe Bushings, lowering springs, Trailing Arms, Tie Rods, PFADT LT Headers, Bosch Iridium Spark Plugs, Big Gulp and the WW relocation kit. So sorry about not having a clip yet but I just got to start it back up a few hours ago and... wait for it... It Sounds Amazing!
When I started it it set off a car alarm on the other side of another car lol. I'll get you guys all the clips tomorrow plus I still have to datalog for Ted and get a modified tune.
