They should have a price reduction just like the US for cash purchases.

Not surprised sales are down. Agree, in Quebec can not even test drive a car unless it has winter tires. I live in Ottawa Ontario and would not consider test driving an auto with summer tires. Ottawa, too many days with temps at O F or below, city blew its snow removal budget many weeks ago, and in these winter conditions my Camaro factory all season tires suck even on plowed/salted streets.

I am a professor, in the last 11 winters only cancelled my classes 3 times due to winter weather and my commute is about 8 miles round trip. Since Jan. 2014, cancelled my classes two times due to poor road conditions.

Agree GM Canada needs to rethink their pricing. May 2010, when I factory ordered my 2011 2LT, made in Canada Camaro, and USA & Canada $ equal, GM Canada price on my 2LT was about $3,500 more on the MSRP then same auto exported to the US (not a dealer markup). Ford Canada had the same MSRP markup on a similar optioned Mustang. Difference was GM Canada had (has) so many restrictions regarding warrenty on cross border purchases and Ford had no cross border warrenty restrictions.

Today, if I had to replace my Camaro, would buy in the US because Canadian $ down, US $ up and now Camaro's imported to Canada. I am one of a few "Canadians" that can buy in the US and import to Canada because my citizenship is US, but have been a permanent resident of Canada for many years. All I have to do is visit family in VA, NC, SC, FL and purchase a GM product there and export to Canada. Auto export from US to Canada not a big deal, done it twice with used cars during the last ten years.

Seriously! When the headlines read only 66 Camaros sold or Camaro sales down 24% it sounds dire. But if you say there were 21 less Camaros sold in the January from hell, then it really doesn't sound so bad.

When you factor in the tail lamps that's actually a pretty solid month.

Winter tire laws are just for Quebec and soon other provinces will have it...cause it does save lives and alot less accidents.
Quebec is even trying to tell businesses that they must post their advertising in French on their FACEBOOK PAGE...WTF

Winter tires mandatory! What a bunch of CRAP! All season tires work just fine if you have half a clue on how to drive in the snow. I have lived in Calgary all my life and have made it through many winters driving here on all season tires. Adapt and drive to the conditions safely. My first Camaro was a 1980 Z-28 4spd in 1989. At the time it was my primary transportation. No traction control, no ABS, no nannies what so ever. I just don't how we all survived such tough times! Bahaha! Now that I am on Camaro number 10 and farther along in life I am blessed to have multiple vehicles and my beloved ZL1 gets to rest warm inside in the off season. Winter tires may help out but aren't a necessity. Pffft!

When you factor in the square tail lamps on the Malibu, Camaro owners shouldn't concern themselves with the shape of the taillights.
