I tried to organize this for my brain.

First pull in the morning
363 rwhp, 339 torque - why's the torque so low?
First pull after intake
371 rwhp, 368 torque
Final pull after cool down
379 rwhp, 372 torque

For a total of 16 rwhp, I'm not sure what's up with the torque.

Well in his 2nd post he says the 1st pull wasn't a full pull thus why the stock numbers were so low. It's rather confusing.

I stand behind what I've seen on alot of LSx cars, most of the gains seen was due to the cooldown period in between runs. I urge others to see what happens when timing gets pulled due to IAT/coolant temps climbing.

If you really wanted to see what a restriction the stock air filter is, remove that before a dyno run and compare.

The first pull wasnt a full pull, he just shifted 1st and 2nd. Dont know why.

All three pulls int hat Dyno are witht he intake though. Earlier we did a pull stock befor eI put it on but it was like 11:30 and temperatures was 92 degrees car put down 364rwhp and 349torque.

Did the radiator have to be tilted back? If so, does it feel stable?

Does the car through a check engine light since installing the CAI System without a tune?

And i am with VelocityC6, There are too many variables to try and say you dynod the car one day for a baseline then installed the CAI system and dynod it the next day to get your results. You need to make a baseline run, then change the CAI on the dyno and make sure the engine temps are identical to get actual hp gains.

The look of the final product is beautiful and the gains are well, um... impressive to say the least.

It does have to be tilted back, but it holds perfectly. It feels stable and all.

I can do that next sunday, the thing is I had a set of American Racing Headers intalled and Andy is sending the tune via email tomorrow, so that might affect clear results.

No the first pull he just shifed from first to second, on the 2nd and third pull he shifted 1-4th.

It didnt threw any codes, the cai doesnt need a tune. Yesterday would have been the perfect day to have it dynoed though, temperature was 80 degrees most of the day. It was cloudy all day, if I had known. lol
