Nice topic. Like most people on the forum, the ZL1 was found to be a great overall package. It does so many thing extremely well. In many cases a car may look good, but doesn't have the goods to back it up. Not so with our beloved ZL1s. My dream car too (and I work for another manufacturer ,for almost 24 years, that builds outstanding luxury cars). Three cheers to the ZL1.

Part of the reason I've owned so many cars is that I have been looking for the perfect car. I almost bought an 06 GTO because I love the seats and they are a blast to drive but I couldn't get past the average/plain looks.

The Z06 is great at the track but sucks for road trips; which is why I didn't buy a C6 Z06. The BMW is fun, good looking, and comfortable too but to HPFP/Injector/etc. issues are frustrating.

I know the Shelby is faster, and the new Corvette is probably a better "all around" sports car, but I'm happy, because I finally found MY dream car.

I too have owned quite a few high performance cars myself and I also feel that the ZL1 is the most complete package out there when considering power, performance, interior space, exterior looks, and overall feel of the vehicle for the cost.
