40-50hp with the right headers...Pfadt swears by it...but you need the high-flow cats to go with.

One thing I do like about my current set up is that there isn't much drone and it isn't too loud cruising, yet WOT is pretty loud. My last Camaro was very loud all the time and had a lot of drone which I got sick of over time.

Basically I want thing thing to really scream when you get on it. Not sure what catback systems out there are good for the Z, so I'm looking for suggestions.
I did exactly what you did except I've got American Racing headers, then high flow cats, factory cat back with fuse pull.

I'm completely happy with it. I told myself I'd throw the fuse back in after I put the headers on just to see, but I never did.

What kind of power differences are being seen between high flow cats vs. no cats? Does it make that much of a difference?

Probably marginal difference.

Here's a video comparing Mike's ZL1 exhaust set up with mine.

I purchased a Corsa just for the fact that a friend of mine had the Borla Attack exhaust i wanted to hear different sounds. The i think if your keeping cats and stock headers Corsa sounds great. One thing i didnt like was that it actually got quieter in the car lol. How ever out side much louder higher pitched exhaust. Got rid of the piggy pig..
here is a before after video we did just to hear the sound difference..

Recommendation!! After installation drive a bit (heat cycle) break it in after it kolos down have a fabricator tac weld the couplers in place... Save you from exhaust leaks...

Pipe is a little low on the rear even stock height driving on the street I've had some clearance issues.. It'll save you some headaches with exhaust leaks.. You dnt have to go all crazy on it just tac the couplers together between the headers and x pipe... Those are the only ones that gave me problems...
