Ran into a white Z/28 on I25S on Monday, near monument. I was hoping we could play a little, but there was a little too much traffic up ahead. Anyone here? I was in the blue Subaru with the very loud turbo.

Anyone in the Denver area running TSP, SP, or Kooks long tubes w/ high flow cats and stock npp or aftermarket exhaust? Or know how it would do, after a tune, at the smog shop or passing one of those smog vans? How about solid cam? I spoke to a guy at a performance shop this week and he indicated that just about nothing passes smog in the metro area except what his shop sells which sounds like a lot of BS to hard sell his wares. I want to do some bolt ons and visit High plains and bandimere, but I need a daily driver, too.

Hi getting back into modifying my cars mainly because im tired of having nice looking but slow camaro ss convertible , over ten years ago I had a basic bolt on 02 z28 running in the high 12's, I'm looking at adding either a twin turbo kit or a whipple 2.9l supercharger to my 2011, but my question is what else will I need to atleast get back into the 12 second range at our altitude? Or will just force induction and some Traction do the trick and also thanks in advance for any advice

575-600rwhp will do it here. Either the TT or S/C you're thinking about will nail your target. Trailing arms needed.

OK thank you, how do you like your turbo set up, and how are the street manners compared to stock

Really nice. Drove like stock when puttering around town or on the highway. But if you punched it, better hold on for the eruption of unadulterated power. Adjustable boost controller makes it nice - can crank 'er up or turn 'er down depending on "situations."

Any beefed up trailing arm will do. The BMRs are a decent bang for the buck and their for support, if necessary (doubt you'll need it). After trailing arms then tie rods, then cradle bushings or solids. The more power you're planning, the more suspension strength you'll need. DON'T SKIMP on suspension!

Had the shop install the trailing arms when doing the TT install. They're both easy enough to install yourself if you have the time, tools and capacity.
