Yeah, so...I was this close to ordering a Camaro last week. I had two guys from Classic on the phone and I hung up both times saying, "well, let me just figure out what interior and exterior I want and I'll give you a call back!"

It never happened. All the possibilities and options have my inner monologue going out of control. It's like an episode of Scrubs in here!

"Summit White, definitely getting that because...HELLOOOO, no one has one yet."

"That was easy."

"Ok, now the gray interior is nice but do I want another light interior? Not that the G isn't anything but super clean (double neg!), but you can still see that stain from the chili fries you had last year if you look reeeally close."

"Black? Yeah go with the black! It's the new black. But it's gets sooooo hot in the sun..."

"Dang it, is the orange interior is too 'in yo face' (like the burritos at Chuy's...delish)...?"

"Beige? Mmmm...too washed out with the white..."

"Screw it...getting black. Summit White with the Black interior. It's like that Michael Jackson video. Sweet."

"Hey, Ed (dude with the sweet Vette at work), figured it out man...I'm getting a White Camaro!"

Ed: "Hm...really? I don't think it shows the lines as well as the other colors, but to each their own!"

Now, that one little comment was like a time bomb in my head. It's ruined me. I go home and put my bunny slippers back on and I really start to think...

"Oh em gee. He's right. Ed is right. White does hide the lines. Do I want to hide the lines??

"Rally Yellow? Is that too 'look-at-me'? Why does Inferno Orange look...well...red. Silver? Boring. Black...yeah that 06 Black GTO was really hard to keep clean. Victory Red looks good! Wait, Dad drove a red '79 Camaro. I can't get a color he likes because after he's done flying back from Iraq, driving to Dallas, and kicking your ass for buying yet another car and not a house...he'll probably take it from you and never let you drive it..."

"Dude you're almost 29...get a grip. Yeah...I'm almost 29!"

"Oh no...the 2011 thread...EVERYONE wants a HUD and full ABL and the front page admin guy says that GM looks at this thread and stuff. How sweet would that stuff be?"

"What am I doing to myself? Why did I read that thread? And why do I keep switching from first person to third person in my own head?"

Gah.

Too funny! Though white is one of my least favorites (a base, not actually a color) a stripes package could help break up the monotone look.

Very entertaining read.

Just one comment...IOM doesn't look as red in person as in photos. Hope that helps and doesn't add to the hysteria.

Very entertaining thread bud. But people have the summit white, me and my dealer both have seen it around town here, sorry! lolz. Gray int is awsum, good two tone. Give the interior some extra personality. Black does get way too damn hott, but leather is leather regardless of the color. Beige is kinda of boring unless you have blue with it.

Dude, that was hysterical and I totally get the scrubs thing. Only thing is, in my head when reading that, I kept picturing Turk in the background doing something stupid, waiting for "The Todd" to high five you and Dr. Cox to call you Helen or some such female name then emasculate you in front of Elliot....Yeah I've seen the show once or twice.

Dude, get Victory Red. It is by far the best "POP" color for the new Camaro.

Ipulled up next to one the other day on the way to work - triedto get the guys attention, but he was oblivious.

At any rate, that color POPS and just looks sooooo good on the car.

I know that i want the 2SS M6 but the colors are driving me nuts!!!

CGM w/ black stripes and black/grey interior OR
SW w/ black stripes and black interior???
