Did this yesterday, love it.

Looks like you're doing a good job but if you're just matching the color, rather than contrasting, it kinda seems pointless.

You need to go to a fabric store and find the original shade. They usually have a sheet to test the color. If they don't, ask for one. In my case, I got ink that looked magenta. I went back and found a fabric marker (dye) that had a higher color number. That code evidently indicated the color, and sure enough the new one was darker red. It went right over the old color without any problem. Here is the before-after comparison.

![]() Picked up a blue one the other day. Took it and tested it. A lot of dye comes out but looks like wiping as you paint it on is best. Going to do this over the weekend. Pics to follow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
