New setup

Hey guys,
I am ordering new wheels and tires this week, and just wanted to run it by the site to make sure I am picking up the right ones. I feel I have done my homework on these, but just need reassurance.

Wheels Drag DR-37 20x8.5 20 offset for front, 20x10 35 offset for rear.
Tires Falken Azenis 255/45/20 front, and 295/40/20 rears

if they are available.....I would get a different offset for the fronts. the STOCK fronts are 20x8 w/ +35mm. the ones you listed have a +20mm, this will push the wheel/tire OUT more. I realize that the new wheel is a 20x8.5.....so a truly better fit would be a +30mm. if the +20mm is all that's available, it will work, just remember that the front wheels will be pushed out about 1/2" compared to the stock 20's.

Thanks for the info, I guess I was thinking that the rears would be close to a 3/8-1/2" out from stock as well. I was trying to keep it close to equal, if that makes any sense.
They do make a 30 offset for the fronts, would it help with handling or is it just for looks?

actually with the +30mm offset, they would look closer to being the same, the handling won't change seeing as how you are going with a staggered set-up.....like stock, just different sizes.

Ok thanks man. I used your sticky on offsets to figure it out so I really appreciate your help. 30 it is, what about the tire size they will be about a 1/2 inch larger than stock. Will that throw off the speedo?
Now I just need to convince my wife that the Camaro needs new shoes.

Are these the Falken Azenis FK-453 ?? I want to go with this size setup but I don't see that 295 size anywhere on their Falken website for that tire.

Just curious, why you aren't going with a slightly wider set up? 275 front / 305 rear? I was also looking at the DR-37 (same sizes in Hyper Silver) but with the wider tire set up.

I too would like to see photos once you get the wheels and tires.

No particular reason, those were the tire sizes that discount tire recommended.
