Nice build!

I lived in Buffalo (lancaster, ny to be exact) for all of my life until college. Recently moved down to Delaware but would love to take my Camaro on a cruise up there... Maybe I'll be in the area sometime, after winter of course (which usually ends around May up there )

Thanks I think you will be better off in Delaware at least weather wise. If you make it back up send me a message it would be nice to meet a fellow Camaro enthusiast.

Thanks Kevin I did not want to go all black or all IOM as I think you can go overboard with orange if you are not careful. I got the idea for the stripe by basically following the diameter of the lid screws. If you look at it close up its not perfect but not too bad considering I free handed the taping.

That shock tower brace looks great like that! What did you use to polish it?

Jon I wet sanded it with 600 grit sandpaper. Then I followed that up with 1000 then 2000 grit wetsanding. After that I used Mothers Aluminmum polish on the white pad that came with my PC 7424XP. It's pretty easy to do. I wanted to do some LED lighting under the hood as well but the wiring always intimidates me. I added some other new mods recently (Razzi splitter and some chrome caps) but I have not gotten around to snapping some pics and posting them here yet.

I finished up the remainder of this winters mods over the last few weeks. First is some chrome cap covers with carbon fiber decals that I bought from one of the members here (500hpbluez28) in the classified section. I got the master cylinder, radiator, ABS module, washer fluid, and power steering caps but the Engine cover does block some of them. To finish it off I bought some strut cap covers off of Amazon as well. I think it really makes the engine bay look a lot better.

Last weekend I added a Razzi splitter that I got used from a local member that sold his Camaro. It was too good of a deal at $75 to pass up. It was black but I had it repainted IOM for $150. I think it gives me that more aggressive look that the V6 lacks in my opinion. I like the way it came out but I am having some issues with the stow and go plate holder scraping. I may need to look into picking up an OEM plate bracket and try mounting that with one of the no drill methods. I can't go without a plate as they like to ticket for it in this area.

Zandron263, found your built thread on the "Over The Hill Gang" thread.
Most interested in your Solo Performance exhaust kit. Sounds sweet. I have a 2011 2LT coupe (non RS) and now that my auto is far out of warranty have wanted a little more in the exhaust sound. Key is a little more sound and viewed your video of exhaust sounds good to me.

Question: Any issues since you have now lived with the Solo system for awhile?

Summers are short here in Ottawa and only now found a garage I can trust to order parts and install. So I want to get moving on this mod in the next month or so.

No problems at all in the two years I have had it. The tone did get a little deeper after a few thousand miles but I liked it more after that. I feel you will be very happy with the system it's pretty quiet during normal driving and can get loud at WOT. Still no drone it's one of my favorite mods I think you will love it.

Thanks. Since last Friday been in contact with Solo as their web part # is for the convertible but my understanding there is a different part # for a 2011 2LT coupe, A6, not listed on their website.

Waiting to hear back from Solo as they told me they have the exhaust kit for my 2011 2LT COUPE but waiting for the part # to be sent to me. Found a shop here in Ottawa to do the exhaust conversion, just trying to get the shop and Solo to communicate with each other.

Do not know much regarding exhaust systems. But like the sound of yours and that is what I want on my V6, A6, 2011 2LT coupe. Thanks for your input.
