That's what it comes down to, accidents happen. I was once very naive years ago and got very worked up over things like this. But then I started to look at the bigger picture of things, I'd take this very very minor accident over getting t-boned by a DUI driver. Sometimes things are blessings in disguise and you never know...

Best of luck to you and hopefully your mother doesn't feel too bad about it all..

Well my dealer quoted me 605. Would you guys rather have the dealer do it or local body shop? Need to reply to them by today to get in Monday

Definitely the dealer. Not only are they cheaper but they have more experience in dealing with Camaros and there will most likely be less labor charges as they are skilled in working on this model of car.

Often times what you run into with local body shops is imitation body parts and corners being cut in order to save themselves the effort and headache. I strongly recommend going to the dealer no matter what in regards to your car-- you paid more for the car, don't let someone screw it up.

As far as a lease goes, my parents were leasing an Audi Q7. Those people will be so incredibly uptight when it comes to inspecting the car at the end of the lease-- to be frank these people are trained to look for imperfections. Letting those people know that you paid for the dealer to do it will probably help you out with not deducting money at the end of the lease. They will be able to tell the difference between the original from when you get the car and the fixed bit. Do the right thing and get it done with the dealer.

Hope I was able to help you. Good luck with everything-- please keep us posted.
