I'll be wanting to bracket race mine a bit and the auto is the only way to stay consistent. I see a trans upgrade in the future. I read where the turbo 400 would not work. Is there another option for an upgraded trans to handle this new torque/power? I'm looking for 800 to 1000 hp.

I'm gonna try and get a 4l80e to work even if I have to relocate the wastegates.

AGP shop car and ADM car are using 6l90s at 1000rwhp.

th400 fitment is questionable, may have to relocate one wastegate. The one didn't fit because of the transbrake, not the actual transmission IIRC. I would call and talk to Kevin about other transmissions. He can make up special adapters or move the wastegates for th400 or other applications.

6L90's are no joke at all. Must be tuned correctly.
4L80 is a good choice for over 1000whp but requires moving the wastegates.
TH400 has no lock up converter so turns the car into a racecar. Hack, move wastegates, whatever. You're cage will have been 10x more work than making the turbo kit fit.

I have an ass load of decals. You'd think i was a ricer with a fart can.

It helps me remember all the mods i have done to the car. I have a whole bunch of young Lieutenants constantly asking me about what i have done to my car. It also seems to be repellant for the idiots in town that have a bullydog tune on their 7000 lb diesel pickups.

Dude! Don't even get me started on all the idiots with diesel trucks that think they're fast, I get them trying to race me all the time, stupid things sound like freight trains blowing black smoke all over the place, before someone says it, I know I know your truck hauls ass & you beat cars all the time, whatever diesel boy! Those trucks make our cars seem light.
