Razor, LOL, 1:49am post. You really can't sleep can you?

To feed you a little tidbit, a C5 member that works in the plant told me that the plant would start up on the midnight shift so presumably it's already been running for a few hours. As much as I want my car RIGHT NOW, I'm kinda hoping for a Tuesday or Wednesday car, IYKWIM....

I was thinking the same thing - Happy St Patty's day and all that but yeah, later in the week better!

It won't be me. I established the proper expectations with my own salesman. I'm surprised that she continues to do the work for other dealerships.

Yeah I couldn't sleep at all! The thing is of all the cars I've had this is the one I'm most excited about. Probably because it will be the first one I will take to the track.

I hear you on the Tuesday Wednesday build, just don't want any hungover employees working on your car the first day back...lol, however a lot of the process is automated.

I figured I'd wait till Wednesday or Thursday to start asking Becky. Hopefully I can hold out that long

I would agree.
It seems like Becky enjoys doing it and I'm sure gives her dealership good advertising. If it wasn't for people like Becky I would still think that all dealers suck. My salesman is great, but he is older and only works a few days a week so hes not there to check on progress as much as I would like.

She understands the marketing value of goodwill. She sells a boatload of Camaros through this forum so obviously, it works out for her. She has to do the checking while she's at the dealership so her boss must see the benefit and support it. I guess a lot of people just hate the negotiation deal. I've grown to enjoy it.

If I don't hear from my salesman by this afternoon, I'm going to give him a call because he owes me some financing information. Have you gotten any loan quotes? If so, what kind of interest rates are you seeing?

Indydriver, convertibles do rock!
I'm also curious what rate they will offer since my bank offers:
48
months
60
months
72
months
New car
2.33%
2.44%
3.06%

and my wife's credit union shows 1.9%

My salesman said to give him a chance to match. Lets see

Our TPW got bumped from 3/3 to 3/17.
So here's what we have coming:
1SS
1LE
RRM
NPP
BA stereo
Recaros.
That's it, that's all.
Already have the cold air intake, skip shift, 3 extra GY G2's, harness bar, 4 point belts and other goodies taking up space in the office. Starting shopping during the holidays and haven't stopped yet.

I just talked to my salesman and he says since the VIN and invoice are so close at hand he would prefer to wait for them so they can submit the complete package. I really haven't shopped rates. I did ask my banker at Chase which is notoriously unaggressive on car loans and they said they could get me down to 2.5% if I borrowed a minimum of $30k and jumped through some other hoops. I wasn't impressed. I believe Ally does a lot of business with car dealerships. I will be surprised if I don't see 1.9 or less. Last check my FICO was 805.
