Is the cruise from the plant escorted? That is what the group wants, but Steeda doesn't usually do that. If not we will do our own, but it's better if everyone participates.

Yes...it's for armed security at the Holiday Inn for both nights (the Sheriff's Department provides this service for $25/hr) and if we get enough people, there will be an escorted cruise to the track the day of the races. I will be providing stickers for the car windshield, so I know who is participating in the escorted cruise. I have to pay in advance, so that's why I try to get people to either PayPal me the $20 or commit to getting it to me on Friday.

But it is certainly nothing that is required, and if you are staying at the Drury, you won't benefit from the security.

We had one last year but feedback suggest that members wanted to do their own and explore more areas.

Last year's cruise to the track was NOT police escorted. There was only one police car. Please PM me. We would love to work together on this.
