Post Chevrolet Europe’s Corvette & Camaro-Centric Geneva Display VIDEO

"Chevrolet Europe has posted a video of its appearance at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show highlighting the facelifted Camaro and the recently redesigned Corvette–two cars perfect for showing the Europeans how it’s done in America.

According to Vijay Iyer, the European Director of Communications for Chevrolet and Cadillac, the Camaro’s brilliance lies with a new interior connected-radio system, allowing drivers to hook-up their phone to an applet interface to provide them with a new phone experience. Chevrolet is convinced it has captured the essence of the American muscle car for the European market for the relatively competitive price of €50,000 (a bit over $69,000).

In similar fashion, Patrick Herrmann, the Technical Manager of Communications for Chevrolet Europe, helped unveil the brand-new Corvette including the Z06 and C7.R, the latter which is set to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans later in 2014. According to Herrmann, the race-bred Corvette is built for pure track driving, with a lightweight aluminum frame that is 57% stiffer than its steel predecessor. Chevrolet took the Corvette one step further, specifically calibrating the Corvette to suit European roads . . . and the European driver.

Take note of the appearances of Marc Storace and Zoe Scarlett. Most Americans may not know who they are, but they are certainly a product of European popular culture (with Marc enjoying some American popularity in the past) who are serving as brand ambassadors for Chevrolet."
