Don't you garage it? That'll help block the dust from randomly landing on your car; but garaging it isn't foolproof unless you get one of those car bubbles.

When I get myself a 1LE as my weekend warrior I will no doubt wash it everytime I take it out and pull the wheels off, jack it up, and clean every little suspension component, the tires, polish the exhaust. And get rid of any dirt underneath that can hold moister and cause rust before I put it away for the winter.

Call me crazy for going through that much but I think in the long run it'll make the difference on the look of the car years down the road.
I want to do that too; but I am not sure how to safely do all that; I got a quick look underneath and yeah it needs to be cleaned but it looks so new I really should clean underneath too LOL and I would do that at the end of the good weather season.

Anyway wrong thread but since you brought it up; I'd like to see a video on this if anyone has one (or maybe you?)

Wash mine all the time, and in between I polish her to a fine finish. I try to keep her showroom nice when at all possible. Does that make me OCD?!!?

We don't have a garage at my house. We have a covered carport but that's not enough to keep dust from settling everywhere. And I am VERY OCD also, but I'm learning to not have anxiety attacks over things I can't help. :P

P.S. The dust doesn't just randomly rest on my car. It makes sure to cover the whole thing. LOL

yeah no the carport WON'T help :( sadly; and I never thought I'd see someone actually have a car on a dirt road; that's one place I won't go with it that's what my Ridgeline is for

Wasn't a problem when I had my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado z71. But, I must say I enjoy my camaro a TON more...
