Reaslistically you shouldn't have waited 2 years before realizing you got beat. Secondly don't know how you guys send payments over the interweb but either it be paypal (45-60 day buyer protection window), or credit.debit card (6 mo + chargeback window) You could have got your money back by reversal.

Lol if he didnt want the hassle of starting a company why do it? I dont care how hard it is, thats your choice to do it and to set the prices.
