for $499+shipping you could be tuning via hptuners, I'm sure there are plenty of tuners on this forum that would offer you some starter tunes via email inexpensively

Tuning a LFX V6 (2014 2LS)
I know that this topic is about a 14 2LS but I have 12 2LT RS manual. From what I have read and have been told, as far as the manual goes, the tune isn't that great. Supposedly it frees up some low end torque on auto.
