I see how things could go from both sides. I was at a flying j one time and this lady with a couple kids was in line, paid for gas, came back a minute later and said some guy was pumping the fuel she just paid for, in the same fashion as this pic. I asked her what pump, the cashier acted like it wasn't his problem. I ended up causing a big scene that day....but the lady got her fuel and money back and the guy at the pump had a come to Jesus moment....i really hate assholes....

So, after reading this I will go ahead and say this guy need his ass kicked in the worst way...I have the opinion that this type of bullshit happens more often now because no one receives a good ass kicking when they deserve it anymore..

Good way to put things in perspective.

Him being "older" only makes it more wrong. Not damaging anything doesn't make it right. Silently tolerating it won't discourage it.

If this situation is a possibility, protect your pump by not pulling so far forward that the hose can reach another vehicle. D-bag will look for easier prey and likely not give you a second thought.

However, just deflecting the douche to cause someone else pain would blow, too. But I like the way you're thinking....

That would be when you call the cops, as that is theft. I also would have walked over and turned off the pump. All you have to do is press the level where the nozzle goes and the machine would have shut off.

You need to coin this one. I see profit in your future. Start making vinyl strips for windshields, bumper stickers, etc. If I were to buy a bumper sticker ever for a car, that would be the one LOL.
