The magazines listed ZL1 as ~4050 lbs during their tests. That number seems to be pretty consistent across different magazines. Edmunds lists the curb weight at 4120 lbs.

And yes, who cares about gross weight? Do you use your car at its max loading capacity? This is not a pickup truck : )

I've seen a reported weight at slightly above 4100 lbs from a couple of the known car magazines. Its a heavyweight.

Edit: My reg. says 4036!

I have a copy of my car's factory invoice and it shows a shipping weight of 4060lbs. The sticker on the door is the gross vehicle weight rating or GVWR.

We just have to make sure that everyone is looking at the same place on their sticker.
Maybe a photo of the sticker?

I have a 2013 ZL1 Vert and I'd take a picture of mine to offer except I'm at work, and the car is tucked away in the garage at home.

GVHW is not the weigth of the car. GVHW takes into acout cargo, etc and it useless in trying to determine the wieght. curb wieght is supposed to be the wieght of the car there are variables though. it is listed at 4120 if memory serves but that does not take into acount acual options fuel level.

I have no had mine on the actual scales. I just took the 4120 number as good enough for me.

an auto weights ~50lbs more than a manual and carries more fluid.

I have seen them wieghed in the 4200 range on physical scales proabably due to fuel level.

Official Curb weight takes all fluids into account, including fuel at full level. It does not include any optional hardware, though.

this is a silly thread that is being obfuscated by trying to compare GVWR to Curb Weight.

I pulled on some grain scales soon after I got my vert and it weighed 4640# with me and a full tank of gas.
I weighed 275#'s at the time and I believe the vert weighs around 250#'s more than the coupe.
The scales have a resolution of 20 #'s
Might give you an approximate number.

yes fluids at the "full" level which is not how your car sits day to day so you can have quite a bit of variation in acutal wieght on scales.
