I'm not, but I really need to make one of these. They look like a blast.

Yep! 2i run group, so I don't have to be there right at the crack of dawn.

Unfortunately forecast is for rain. I hate rain days.

Nice! I almost got out of group one last time but my instructor said he will never move someone up when its only been there first time at the track no matter how good they did. Got all 5's gave me one 4.5 to keep me out. I can appreciate it though and I would like another run with instructor anyway.

Rain......NO!!!!!!!

2i still needs instructor (I have only been on SP Main once, but have a lot of track time under my belt) but you get to run in a faster run group. So I am happy with that.

Right now Weather Underground says rain "later in the day" Friday so maybe we'll get a good morning in at least. But that far out, it all could change.

My first (and only so far) track day was in the rain at Summit Point last October. It was a great experience. It was wet and cold and all of our gear got soaked, even though we covered it with a tarp but none of that mattered because we (my wife and I) were having too much fun. The instructors say it's a very good learning experience for a novice.

Yep. I've had my share of wet days. Now I am trying to push the limits of my car and can't do that when it's wet.

With a beautiful car like that, you sure don't LOOK like a novice!

Hmm, maybe I need to change my signature picture. That's an in game picture of a car I made in the game Forza Motorsport 3 on the Sebring racetrack. I wish that was my car!

I hope you don't mean the May 23rd event. That one is on the Jefferson and is being geared toward vintage cars.
